He was the first person of Indian heritage to win Best Model in the World in 2005.

Shukla began his acting career in 2008, appearing in the Indian television series Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. He gained wide popularity in 2012 while appearing in the TV drama Balika Vadhu.

His big screen debut was in 2014 in the romantic comedy Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, followed by Business in Kazakstan in 2016.

Shukla also appearanced in the Hindi web series ‘Broken But Beautiful 3′ . He went on to appear in a few reality TV shows, achieving a win on the Hindi version of Fear Factor in 2016.

He also hosted India’s Got Talent in 2015. In 2021, he was declared The Times of India’s Most Charismatic TV personality. He died unexpectedly of a heart attack at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. He is survived by his mother and two sisters.

Death

Sidharth Shukla died on 2 September 2021 after suffering a heart attack at the age of 40. After Shukla’s demise, Shukla’s close friend and actor Vidyut Jammwal took to his Instagram account to pay a tribute to Shukla.
