Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban stepped out in style to celebrate the actress’s momentous night, accompanied by their teenage daughters making their red carpet debut!

The spotlight was on the “Bombshell” star as she was honored at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on Saturday, April 27.

On the red carpet, Kidman, 56, dazzled in a custom Balenciaga Fall 24 gown adorned with gold sequins, while her husband looked sharp in a black suit with silk lapels, complemented by a white shirt, black tie, and boots. Their daughters, Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13, joined the family affair, with Sunday in a floral strapless gown and Faith stunning in a coral dress.

In her heartfelt acceptance speech, the actress, 56, showered praise on Urban, her two daughters, and her entire family, acknowledging the “enormous amount of luck” in her life while emphasizing the paramount importance of love.

“There’s big, big love,” she expressed, “and then right there is the love of my life, and the loves of my life. My daughters have never joined me publicly on a red carpet before, so tonight was their premiere appearance. Here they are, Sunday and Faith.”

During her acceptance speech, Kidman, 56, expressed her gratitude while acknowledging those who couldn’t be present, particularly her mother. She mentioned that her mother was watching the live stream of the event, expressing her appreciation for technology. Kidman also paid tribute to her father, stating that she feels his presence every day.

Continuing, she mentioned her extended family, including nieces, nephews, her sister, and her aunt and her husband, whom she considers family. Kidman attributed her success and the honor she received to their support and love.

Addressing her guests, Kidman expressed her love and gratitude, particularly to those who traveled halfway across the world to be there. Among her guests were colleagues and friends such as Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep, Naomi Watts, and Morgan Freeman, who all came to pay tribute to her.

The AFI Life Achievement Award, which Kidman received, is a prestigious honor presented by the American Film Institute since 1973. It recognizes individuals whose contributions to the film industry have significantly enriched American culture.

Reflecting on her career journey, Kidman recently shared a video on Instagram showing herself at 14 in her first role in “Bush Christmas” in 1983. In the caption, she expressed her excitement about receiving the AFI honor and reflected on the diverse characters she’s played and the talented individuals she’s had the opportunity to work with throughout her career.
